Audit of Babylon Genesis
Our team performed a security audit for Babylon Labs of their updates to Babylon Genesis, a Cosmos SDK-based blockchain that provides two core security-sharing protocols between Bitcoin and Proof-of-Stake networks.
Babylon Genesis maintains a Bitcoin light client for transaction verification, uses Vigilante to relay data between Bitcoin and Babylon Genesis, and supports IBC protocols to extend Bitcoin's security guarantees to connected blockchain networks.
One of the issues we identified was in the Vigilante staking transaction fetcher, where certain delegations could be skipped due to incorrect pagination logic. This and the other major issues have since been resolved by Babylon. Read the full report.
